Frances Marie (D’Ambrosio 1952) Capozzi passed away February 2, 2020 and was the sister Lucille Hays, Julie DiNome, and the late Ralph Capozzi, and Linda Ziegler.
Bernice (Shorts 1952) Gorman passed away February 16, 2020 and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Tom (1944) as well as brothers Clifford and Kenny. She is survived by brother Ronnie and sister Patricia Kennedy. Bernice was mother of Tom., Jr., Tammy and Donna. Bernice was a valued member of the SHHSAA and revered member of the alumni “Glue Girls.”

Lillian Sherron (2/54) Parme passed away February 25, 2020 and is survived by daughters, Jo-Catherine Westcott and Jeanette Blum, son Joseph Parme.

Margie (Hirth 1952) Liberati passed away December 21, 2019 and is survived by her husband of 62 years, Anthony. Sister of Carol Davis and the late Doris Weisenbacher. Mother of Dayna DiRienzo, Carla Brandon and Lisa Vith. Margie and her sisters performed as THE HIRTHQUAKES in the 1950’s on the Wilkens Amateur Hour on WDTV (the predecessor of KDKA-TV). They later changed their name to the Wilkenettes, appearing regularly on the show.

Albert W. Schnupp passed away November 15, 2019 his 102nd birthday. He taught U.S. History at South Hills and other Pittsburgh Schools for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Dominga Schnupp and was the father of Kevin Schnupp.
Eleanora (Davoli 1952) Taylor passed away on July 26, 2019 and is survived by Gottfried, her companion and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; Frank, Fred, Dina, Joseph, Teresa, and Dante.
Thomas Westlake Baylor (1953) passed away on January 10, 2019 and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lois (Wise) Baylor; his daughter, Cheryl Jean Baylor and his son, Gregory.
William Masucci (1978) passed away on June 7, 2019 and is survived by his wife, Marlene (Blasi 1978) and his children, Brian and Kellee Ann. He was preceded in death by his sister in law, Kathleen (Blasi 1973) Grimm and her husband, Joseph (1970).
Charles Lucas Granigan, Jr., age 79, passed away on August 2, 2019 and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Alice Mae (Collins) Granigan; a son, Charles Michael Granigan; two daughters, Kelly Beckley and Mindy Btancho; a sister, Stephanie Kaplon. Mr. Granigan taught at SHHS at one time in long career with the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
Richard Dunn (1946) passed away on July 22, 2019 and was preceded by his wife, Joanne (Mitchell) Dunn, who died on July 14, 2019. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Haupt and Laura Sheehan; sons, Timothy and Brian. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Dunn; sister, Alberta Lindberg; and four brothers, Paul, James, Joseph and Carl Dunn.
Lois June (Bressler1947) Drexler passed away on April 14, 2019 and was predeceased by her husband, Thomas and her brother, William Bressler, Jr. She is survived by her children, June Robertson, Joan and Jonathan Drexler.
Antonette (Raffaele 1/47) Scarpino passed away on June 30, 2019. She is survived by her daugthers Katie Andrasko ( 6/72) and Connie Malik (6/75). She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph.
Wilfred C. Hogle, Jr. (1953) passed away on July 29 2019 and was the husband of 52 years of the late Irma, brother of John and the late Hank.
Michael Paul (1961) passed away on July 8, 2019 and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha (Griego) Paul. He was the father of Michael, Marcella Heidenreich, and Mandy Cordova. Also is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Siebert.
James Anthony Farmer (1966) passed away on May 5, 2019 and is survived by his brother, Mike and sister, Debra.
Stanley Haduch (1969) passed away on May 24, 2019 and is survived by his wife, Jeanine (Gaydos) Haduch; sons, Stanley and Kenneth. Also survived by his sister, Phiyllisjo Dempsey and his brother, Thomas. He is also survived by his mother, Phyllis (Rizzo) Haduch. Both his mother and brother were graduates of South Hills.
Lynn David Delmar (1971) passed away on July 3, 2019 and is survived by his wife, Charlene and his son, James and his brother, James. He was preceded by his mother, Georgetta Helen Delmar and his son, David Delmar.
C. Ralph Verno (1937) passed away May 13, 2020, survived by his wife of 67 years, Ida, daughters, Lauren, Lynne, Linda and Lisa. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Verno.
Rosemary Howard (1952) passed away April 15, 2020 and is survived by her husband, Jake. Mother of Joe, Howard, and Beth Rofsky.
Donald E. Haas (1952) passed away February 8, 2020 and is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise. His daughters, Sally, Sharon, Linda, and son, Edward survive him. Also survived by his sister, Ruth (Haas 1964) Stuart.
Marie (Forsek 6/53) Kajikawa passed away March 19, 2020 and is survived by her husband Melvin. They married shortly after high school and lived in Hawaii.
Barbara Jane (Doyle 1955) Delbianco passed away May 31, 2020 and is survived by her husband, Emilio, mother of Steve, Daniel, David, Jeff and Julie. Michael Kukic (age 72) passed away on August 11, 2016 and is survived by his wife, Mary Ann. He was a very popular coach at SHHS during the 1980s. There are many postings on Facebook about Coach Kukic. There will be a memorial service in Davenport Florida on October 25th, which is his birthday.
Virginia (Ziegler) Turba on March 6, 2016 and was preceded in death bu her husband, Joseph A. Turba Sr. Mother of Joseph A. Turba, Jr. (’68), and the late Edward Turba (’60). Sister of the late Eleanor Ziegler, Grace Fedorchak, Emma Kotek, and Howard Ziegler, Jr. She retired as a cafeteria worker at SHHS.
Ira Smith (’46) passed away on April 12, 2016 and was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred and sister, Daisy Hawk. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Priser; son, Richard and his daughter, Mary Carol.
